For ten years, A Gal Named Cinda Lou has been owned and operated by the Bennati Family, Julia, Debbie and Jim. If you are curious about the origin of our name, Cinda Lou was Julia's grandmother! It seemed like the perfect name for a store which sells an eclectic collection of fashion, music, accessories, posters and furniture. If you find yourself in Uptown Westerville, stop by and come meet us!
Historic Uptown Westerville
Though Westerville's origins go back to 1806 with the settling of Revolutionary War veteran Edward Phelps and his friend, Issac Griswold, along Alum Creek at Blendon Corners, the community would not get its official name until 1840. Since then, the town has been known for its involvement in the underground railroad, also for being the epicenter of the temperance debate starting in 1909, and by becoming the largest suburb in central Ohio.
You can still feel the city's history by taking a stroll through Uptown. Thus, next time you stop in at A Gal Named Cinda Lou, make it a point to stay around the area and enjoy the charm embedded into the surrounding shops.
